Ryan Bird is an electronic musician from Seattle, WA.  At 29 years old, he's been playing drums for over 15 years.  Recently performing under the name SQUID LEADER, and also one half of the LIVE PA - Tekgnosis (the other half being mO).  mO and Bird have each won the Seattle Laptop Battle, mO in 2005 and Bird this year, 2006.  They are both now involved with Shameless Productions. 

Currently, Bird is using Ableton Live on a Sager laptop, along with MIDI controllers and Roland V-Drums.  He plays a wide range of styles from techno, electro, house, acid, funk, hip-hop, and breaks at the same time bringing in elements of punk, rock, glitch, dub, old school, psychedelic, and comedy.  Bird also works in a music production outfit entitled numeriklab with Neil Martin, Matt Hawkins, and mO.  Bird is also producing music in a spoken word/ambient project with Steven Ebert.  He is presently working in the studio for future releases available as mp3s, podcasts, CD, and vinyl.
