Biography: Growing up outside St. Louis, Detroit, and New York City, Menami was exposed to many different types of music and developed a strong love for music and dancing at a young age. She eventually wound up in Seattle and later stumbled upon the Shameless crew late in 2004. Since then she has become the requisite jill-of-all-trades for the Shameless collective. Her work ranges from designing/maintaining the Shameless website, coordinating/managing artists and bookings, lugging and transporting equipment, promoting around town, harassing DJs and artists to record their latest mixes or productions, and doing her DJ impression sporadically. She enjoys and collects techno, electro, bass music, tech-house, ghetto tech, dirty club and party music, and dreamy, domestic downtempo. Piano and oboe lessons in her childhood helped to build in an appreciation of music composition.
